WELCOME TO ECOM4CHILDREN
The e-COM 4 CHILDREN MOOC is a free and open online course on the e-commerce of safe children’s products, specifically designed for personnel belonging to businesses in the industry, consumer associations, and authorities. The purpose of this course is to give a general overview of three key topics for the online sale and purchase of children’s products in the EU: the legal framework of e-commerce, consumer protection, and children’s product safety.
eCom4Children has been developed by means of a consortium that, coordinated by the Technological Institute for Children’s Products & Leisure, AIJU (Spain), is formed by the Czech Association for Toy and Play, SHH (the Czech Republic); the University of Alicante, UA (Spain); the Università Politecnica Delle Marche, UNIVPM (Italy) and the Associação para a Promoção da Segurança Infantil, APSI (Portugal), which is referred to hereinafter as THE CONSORTIUM.
eCom4Children is an online course, 100% free and open, on the safety assessment and management for new and innovative children’s products. The online course can be accessed via the computer, Tablet or a mobile phone. Participants need to have a Gmail account to take part in the course. The course is available in Spanish, English, Italian, Czech and Portuguese.
The course introduces a learning methodology adapted to users’ current needs. For this reason, depending on your profile, you will be recommended one itinerary or another, which will be adapted to your needs. In addition, you can choose the contents you are most interested in or even complete the entire master course.
After sitting the final exam, you can download your certificate free of charge.
The terms and conditions established herein (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS”) govern your relationship as a participant in the eCom4Children courses given by the THE CONSORTIUM that has organized the Erasmus+ project called “E-commerce of safe children’s products: a common view for SMEs, consumers and authorities” (eCom4Children), application number: 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038232.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF eCom4Children
1. GENERAL DETAILS
Pursuant to article 10 of the Law 34/2002, dated the 11th of July, of Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce we are supplying you with the following information:

2. PRIVACY POLICY
Pursuant to the provisions established in the Organic Law 15/1999, dated the 13th of December, on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD) users are hereby informed that all the data that they provide us with shall be stored on a file that has been created by AIJU, which is therefore responsible for it.
The data that you supply in the course enrolment, events and workshops registration page of the eCom4Children programme (hereinafter referred to as, "your Personal Data") shall be processed in a file that AIJU, whose business address is in Avda de la Industria 23, 03440 Ibi (Alicante) Spain, is responsible for. Your Personal Data shall only be used to manage your participation in eCom4Children and to keep you up-to-date on the courses, conferences, events, workshops and other services provided by AIJU.
Your personal details shall always be kept confidential and shall only be used to administer the services supplied, deal with your requests, carry out administrative work and also send you information about the online and classroom training organised by AIJU.
You can exercise your rights to access, rectify, cancel and oppose the processing of your personal information (even revoke your image rights) by sending a letter expressing your wishes to the Administration Department of AIJU, at the aforesaid address Avda de la Industria 23, 03440 Ibi (Alicante) Spain.
3. CONDICIONS OF USE
The access and use conditions of this website are governed by the law in force and by the principal of good faith, whereby users agree to use the website properly. Behaviour that violates the law, the rights or interests of third parties is not allowed.
It is assumed that users of the website www.ecom4children.eu have read and accept these conditions and the applicable legal regulations established on this subject matter. If for any reason you do not agree with these conditions you should stop using this website.
Any type of notification and/or complaint shall only be considered to be valid if it is sent in writing to the aforementioned email or by certified post to the address stated above.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES
AIJU is not responsible for the information and the content stored in forums, social networks or any other type of media that allows third parties publish content independently in the website of the service provider. However, in accordance with the articles 11 and 16 of the LSSI-CE, AIJU agrees to delete or where appropriate block any content that could affect or infringe upon national or international legislation, third party rights or public order.
The company cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused due to errors or badly configured software installed in the computer of the internaut. It is exempt of any responsibility with regard to a technical fault or incident that could occur when the user goes online. In turn it cannot guarantee that there won’t be interruptions or errors when accessing the website.
Moreover, AIJU reserves the right to update, modify or delete information contained in its website, as well as the configuration or the presentation of such, at any time without being held accountable for doing so.
5. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
5.1 The website
AIJU, as the coordinator of the European project eCom4Children “E-commerce of safe children’s products: a common view for SMEs, consumers and authorities”, it is the owner of the intellectual and industrial property rights on the materials that are mentioned in the website www.ecom4children.eu.
5.2 Respect of content
THE CONSORTIUM is the owner of the intellectual and industrial property rights on the content included in eCom4Children.
This content can be used under an Attribution, Non-commercial (NC), No Derivative Works (ND) type of Creative Commons License. Commercial use of the original work or the production of derivative work is forbidden.
If the material is used, the attribution must be respected by quoting the aforementioned source as a eCom4Children “E-commerce of safe children’s products: a common view for SMEs, consumers and authorities” European Project financed by the Erasmus+ programme and, by means of an active link to www.ecom4children.eu
All the information that is received in the website, such as comments, suggestions or ideas, shall be considered to have been supplied to AIJU free of charge. When an internaut sends information they are assumed to have accepted that they have done this free of charge and indefinitely.
6. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
The general conditions established herein are governed by Spanish Law.
